The projects
You will work on system architecture in financial services - legacy modernisation, cloud migrations and complex system integrations. Insurance core systems, banking integrations, leasing platforms. Environments where decisions have long-term consequences and 'we'll sort it out as we go' is not an option.
What you will do
- Designing system architecture based on the business need and existing infrastructure
- Integration architecture - including with legacy systems
- Technology selection and justification - with professional arguments, vendor-independently
- API design and integration design
- Technical guidance for the development team during implementation
- Cloud architecture design (Azure or AWS) with financial services compliance in mind
What we are looking for
- At least 8 years of experience designing and building IT systems
- Strong experience in integration architecture design
- Java or .NET back-end experience - you need to understand what you design down to code level
- Cloud experience (Azure or AWS) - a plus
- Financial services knowledge - a plus
- Technology-agnostic thinking - you choose technology based on the business need
